100 new parking meters have been installed in Bucharest by the end of 2023 and another 200 will be installed in the following period. All are manufactured by a local company in the Capital city.
Payments are made without additional fees. You can use your card, phone, smart watch, QR code, or prepaid tickets, and pay for the hourly parking rate, subscriptions or the rate for coaches and buses.
Starting from March 1, 2023, parking in Bucharest costs 5 lei/hour, 30 lei for the whole day and 500 lei/month. These rates are applicable from 08.00 AM to 08:00 PM, from Monday to Sunday.
