Bucharest is the third-best European city for part-time work in 2024, according to Solopress which analyzed 40 European cities against a series of metrics, including the total number of part-time roles available, average salaries for part-time work, and living costs.
Thus, Bucharest is the third best place for part-time work. In the Romanian Capital, the average salary is £859.05, the price of utilities is £117.25 per month, monthly transport pass just £14.99, and the average rent is £441.84.
The only cities that are better than Bucharest for part-time workers are Tirana (Albania), and Sofia (Bulgaria). Skopje (North Macedonia) sits in fourth place, followed by Helsinki (Finland).
The European cities that pay the most for part-time work are Bern (Switzerland) – £5,483.23, Luxembourg – £3,929.34, and London (United Kingdom) – £3,352.03 per month.
