Harry Ramsden’s, the iconic British fish & chips restaurant chain, is officially entering the Romanian market through a local partnership with Horecagroup SRL. Founded in 1928, the brand prepares to open its first restaurant in Romania in March next year.
The initial launch will be followed by a second location before the end of the year, according to the development roadmap. Starting in 2027, the brand plans to accelerate its expansion by opening restaurants in major shopping centers across Bucharest, with a nationwide rollout targeted for 2028.
We are proud to bring an iconic British brand to Romania. Harry Ramsden’s nearly 100-year heritage and product excellence will strongly resonate with local consumers. We are fully committed to developing the brand across the country

Beyond the restaurant network, the partnership also includes plans to expand Harry Ramsden’s presence into Romania’s modern retail chains. The move aims to tap into growing local demand for internationally recognized food brands and established dining concepts.
