5 to go, which has recently passed the 600 open locations milestone, climbs to 7th place in the European top of café chains, according to the Food Service, Europe & Middle East ranking for 2023.

The Romanian brand has been steadily advancing in this top ranking of the industry’s leading brands, ranking 10th in 2021 and 9th in the ranking dedicated to 2022.

5 to go expands to Moldova

This month, 5 to go entered the Republic of Moldova market, where it opened its first location in Chisinau. There it is targeting a minimum of 50 locations over the next three years, with new openings planned for early 2025.

The cafes in the Republic of Moldova benefit from their own service department and will be equipped with Latte Art Factory machines from launch, to provide customers with perfect milk cream and optimized serving time.

In the 5 to go cafes in the neighboring country, prices range from 20 to 45 MDL, following the 5 for 5 scheme that has been operating in Romania in recent years.
