Another NATO exercise in Romania. Dacian Spring to start on May 5th

Around 4,000 military personnel and 913 technical means from 10 allied nations (Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain) are participating in the multinational exercise Dacian Spring 2025 in Romania, from May 5-23.

Initial reports indicate that the first allied troops entered the country on April 16, through the Nădlac border crossing, heading towards the Bogata training ground. The deployment of the Belgian maneuver battalion on Romanian territory within DASP 25 it is the first-of-its-kind.

The exercise is planned and led by Headquarters Multinational Division South-East (MND-SE HQ) and will be simultaneously conducted in Smârdan, Cincu, Capu Midia, Bogata and Frecăței Training Areas.
