Romania won against Poland by a goal difference but is out of the Handball World Cup

Romania recorded a narrow victory against Poland (27-26) in the last match at the Women’s Handball World Cup, finished Main Group III in third place, and is out of the competition.

It was a first half controlled by Romania, and the score difference at half-time was 13-10. Poland managed a better second half and drew the score in the final minutes of the game.

Eliza Buceschi, 11 goals scored today, was again, for the fourth time, the game MVP. Other players who had a good game were Laslo (5 goals), Pintea (4 goals) and Bucur (3 goals).

Before the match against Poland, Romania recorded the following results at the women’s Handball WC: 44-19 against Chile, 37-28 versus Serbia, 23-39 against Denmark, 22-24 versus Germany, and 32-28 against Japan.
