Romania has officially unveiled the concept of DraculaLand, a privately funded investment exceeding €1 billion, designed to become the largest entertainment, retail, and technology destination in Europe.
Developed alongside top international partners, DraculaLand will integrate tourism, retail, technology, culture, and lifestyle into a single, large-scale entertainment and innovation infrastructure. The development will span 160 hectares and will be located just 20 minutes from Bucharest and 15 minutes from Henri Coandă International Airport (Otopeni).
The project includes a large-scale theme park covering more than 780,000 square meters, featuring six immersive themed zones and over 40 major attractions. A multifunctional arena with approximately 80,000 square meters of built space and seating capacity for 22,500 people will host concerts, festivals, esports competitions, and international events.
Retail and lifestyle components will include a luxury Fashion & Home Deco Outlet spanning around 9,000 square meters of retail space and 3,000 square meters dedicated to food and beverage, featuring over 70 brands. The concept is being developed together with Piuarch Milano and The Mall Firenze team.
Hospitality infrastructure will consist of three hotel concepts, a four-star Dracula Grand Hotel, a three-star-plus Dracula Family Hotel, and a three-star Dracula Inn, offering a total of 1,200 rooms, conference facilities, and premium services.
The destination will also feature a large Aqua Park & Thermal Spa with more than 50,000 square meters of built space and over 30 water attractions, including one of the largest wave pools in Europe.
Additional components include a 4.5-kilometer racing circuit with paddock, garages, VIP areas, and media facilities, as well as a Business Accelerator & Tech Hub offering over 1,000 workstations for startups active in gaming, AI, and digital creative industries.

A “phygital” project built around its own metaverse
In parallel with the physical development, DraculaLand is being designed as one of the world’s first large-scale “phygital” entertainment projects, featuring its own metaverse built in Unreal Engine 5.
The metaverse will integrate a native ecosystem token, DraculaCoin, usable both digitally and physically, NFT-based systems for digital ownership and rewards, AI-powered personalization, and real-time synchronization with physical events such as concerts, festivals, and competitions taking place inside the park.
