McDonald’s is launching a new nationwide hiring campaign in Romania, with 500 new jobs planned for 2026 as part of its restaurant expansion strategy. The openings cover Crew Member, Barista, Guest Experience Leader and YoungLead, the latter being a program for people who want an early step into management.
For an 8-hour schedule, the total net monthly package, including meal vouchers worth 40 lei per day, bonuses and allowances, ranges from Crew Member: 3,300 lei to 3,700 lei net, Barista: 3,350 lei to 3,500 lei net, Guest Experience Leader: 3,900 lei to 4,000 lei net, YoungLead: 4,700 lei to 5,100 lei net.
Alongside pay, employees receive medical coverage, telemedicine access and flexible work schedules, including full-time and part-time options of 4 or 6 hours. Where available, they may also work at the restaurant closest to home.
Premier Restaurants, the McDonald’s franchise operator in Romania, runs 115 restaurants in 34 cities. Of those, 66 have McDrive and 74 include McCafé locations. The company’s workforce now exceeds 7,000 employees.
