More than 1.9 million people visited Bucharest’s Christmas Markets

West Side Christmas Market in Drumul Taberei Park

Bucharest Christmas Market was open for five weeks and visited by over 900,000 people and the West Side Christmas Market in Drumul Taberei Park registered 1 million visitors in 33 days.

Over 200 artists, dozens of craftsmen and artisans were invited to the Christmas Fair in Constitution Square. Also, 57 live concerts took place in the last five weeks.

West Side Christmas Market had the largest decorative curtain in Romania, so far, with a length of over 100 m. It was suspended on the bridge in the park at a height of up to 50 m.

Both Christmas Markets had artificial ice rinks, a panoramic wheel, a stage and numerous booths where traditional and international products were sold.
