Olympus is starting construction on a new 7,100-square-metre production and storage hall within its Brașov Dairy Plant, a €7.5 million investment to expand capacity and efficiency. The new facility will meet strict energy efficiency and resource-use standards.
Just one year ago, Olympus inaugurated a €40 million automated logistics centre adjacent to the dairy, a 13,500 sqm complex featuring a high-bay refrigerated warehouse storing over 32,000 pallets of products. The new hall will integrate seamlessly, streamlining production-to-distribution flows for dairy, cheeses, plant-based drinks, juices, mineral water and soft drinks.
The Brașov Dairy Factory in Hălchiu already exports to Germany, Italy, France, the UK, Bulgaria and Serbia. Part of Greece’s Hellenic Dairies Group, Olympus runs 10 factories across Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Cyprus, offering a full portfolio of fresh and value-added beverages.
