Lynk & Co has officially launched its new D-segment SUV, the Lynk & Co 08, in Romania. The vehicle boasts an impressive total range of over 1,100 kilometers, combining a 200 km all-electric WLTP range, the highest among plug-in hybrids currently available in Europe, with a petrol engine.
The Lynk & Co 08 is available in two trim levels, Core and More, blending Scandinavian-inspired minimalist design with cutting-edge features. Highlights include a Harman Kardon premium sound system, advanced connectivity, and intelligent onboard technologies.
Under the hood, the model is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine delivering 102 kW (137 hp) to the front wheels, paired with an electric motor producing 155 kW (208 hp). Combined, the system generates a robust 257 kW (345 hp).
Standard equipment features a blind spot monitoring system, 360° camera, comprehensive safety systems, event data recorder (EDR), facial recognition for start-up, or keyless access and ignition.
On the technology side, the Lynk & Co 08 includes 5G connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 15.4-inch central display, a 10.2-inch driver display, and dual-zone voice assistant. The higher-spec More version even comes with a selfie camera.
Customers in Romania can now test and order the Lynk & Co 08 at dealerships. Prices start at €52,990 for the Core version and €56,990 for the More, both including VAT, with a launch discount of €3,000.
