In Mannheim, the Romanians started confident, and the first minutes were somehow balanced, but Spain regained control of the game and at the break had 5 goals ahead. In the second half, the difference increased.
It is the second game lost by Romania in this tournament, after the game against Austria (24-31). For the ”Tricolors,” it’s the first participation at a final Handball European Championship final tournament after 28 years.
