Oradea Arena will host the 2022 edition of the Niro Carpathian Trophy at men’s handball, one of the oldest international handball tournaments in Europe.
The Romanian national team will play against the stronger teams of Egypt and Algeria, qualified for the Handball World Cup 2023, as well as the national team of Slovakia. The games will take place at the new Oradea Arena and will be broadcasted live by Pro Arena.
On Wednesday, December 28, Egypt will play Algeria and the Romanian team will meet Slovakia.
The finals will take place on Thursday. From 17:00, the losers from Wednesday games will meet in the small final, and starting from 19:15, the winners from the semifinals of the first day will fight for the trophy.
