Steaua and Rapid annihilated each other in the Romanian Cup. Ultras show in the stands!

Steaua and Rapid match counting for the second stage of Romanian Cup Group B ended 0-0. In the stands, the ultras duel was won by Peluza Sud, after the home side supporters displayed three spectacular choreographies and performed the pyrotechnic show of the season.

On the field, the difference in budget and tiers in Rapid’s favor was imperceptible, with a first half in which Steaua was better, but also with a huge goal opportunity for the guests in the final minutes of overtime.

The first shot came in the 22nd minute, Sierra caught a ”torpedo” from 20 meters, centrally, but his shot went just over the goal. We had to wait until the 37th minute to record another shot on goal, this time by Rapid’s Papeau.

Steaua ends the first half attacking, but Boiciuc’s header, after a cross from Maftei, falls onto the net of Drăghia’s goal. At the start of the second half, Chipirliu is a millimeter away from a perfect cross from Dobrescu, but the ball goes out of bounds.
